The W21 PRV in ½” and ¾” sizes is mostly used for branch lines outside bathroom/kitchen or for safety of individual apparatus like boiler, water purifier etc. The cost economics of UPVC body option has now enabled the use of single stack downtake design with one prv for each bathroom/ kitchen instead of one prv catering to many floors. Perfect for maximized water conservation as this system gives same (optimized) pressure on each floor. Optimized pressure means optimized water consumption. W21 has a built-in filter but misses the "dual open design" as in other models like W3 but none can beat the cost effectiveness of the UPVC W21 in the diaphragm operated category. With the fully loaded brass inserts in the UPVC body this UPVC PRV offers an amazing combination of price and performance with 5 years warranty. .
